  • Obtained a Hope 6 Grant to revitalize Pine Haven, a low-income housing area

CHAIRMAN, VOLUSIA COUNTY WATER ALLIANCE

  • Championed the inter-local agreement now known as WAV or Water Authority of Volusia County  

  • Mission: To conserve water and improve the health of Florida’s aquifer

ACTIVIST

  • Chairman of the Board of the Anti-Recidivist Effort, a non-profit corporation dedicated to fighting substance abuse

  • Co-sponsored (alongside Circuit Judge Hubert Grimes) the return of the Central Florida Community Development Corporation (CFCDC), a midtown business incubator in Daytona Beach

  • Cooked chili for the homeless as part of the Martin de Porres Guild at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 11 years

  • Provided pro-bono legal services for Bethune Cookman University's Endowment for Charitable Giving
